Contribution & Limitations

Our contribution

We hope that our work can contribute to at least new conversations about Registration Data and AI:s role in the future of corporate domain name management. Since registrars are taking on more responsibility for registration data, this dialogue can be especially relevant.

We want to highlight the importance of Human-Centered AI principles in this sector. A human-centered AI agent, used carefully, can enhance data quality, reduce friction, and strengthen regulatory alignment — without compromising trust.

We also hope to offer insights into how a conversational interfaces can transform workflows compared to traditional navigation-based systems.

Limitations and Future reserach

  • This is a pre-study with a limited and focused scope. It’s not a production-ready system. The results in the study remains preliminary and exploratory.
  • The prototype has been tested in a controlled environment with selected use cases.
  • The prototype needs further development and broader testing are required. No real-time API integrations with registrars or external databases have been implemented yet. We have an ongoing dialog with experts and need to continue the legal and regulatory analysis.
The study also focuses exclusively on quality assurance and correction of registration data for existing domain names. It does NOT address the initial verification of data during domain registration, which is handled by registrars and lies outside the scope of this research.
